Long Beach Courthouse land swap OK'd
City leaders Tuesday voted unanimously to support a key land swap between the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency and the state that will pave the way for a newer, larger downtown home for the Long Beach Courthouse. The City Council agreed to the property sale and land-exchange agreement that will allow the state to give the agency 415 W. Ocean Blvd., site of the current courthouse, for future development in exchange for the RDA-owned vacant property bordered by Broadway, Maine Avenue, Third Street and Magnolia Avenue.
