Long Beach's Department of Devlopment Services will hold a joint community meeting and EIR scoping session Oct. 7 for the proposed project at the SeaPort Marina site. The project, pegged for Second Street and Pacific Coast Highway, has been criticized because of plans for a 12-story building in an area where heights are zoned for 35 feet maxximum.
