Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske's won unanimous support Tuesday for her push to have the city take a closer look at the potential pollution problems at Los Cerritos Wetlands. The push comes on the heels of a finding by the Environmental Protection Agency that there is a substantial threat of a release of hazardous substances -- polychlorinated hydrocarbons, or PCBs -- into the environment at the LCW Oil Operations owned by Tom Dean.
