Coastal Development Permit is Required for New Wetlands Parcel
LBReport.com has learned that CA Coastal Commission staff has informed City Manager Pat West by letter that a memo to the Mayor and City Council by Public Works Director Mike Conway (previously reported by LBReport.com) was incorrect in stating that a coastal development permit isn't required to create a four acre parcel (currently owned by LCW Partners, LLC, north of 2nd St./east of PCH and the "In N Out" Burger location) for conveyance to the City as part of a SE LB wetlands/open space exchange for city owned property.
