Compton Creek to Flood Coolridge Trianglw with Flood Insurance
LBReport.com has learned that L.A. County's Compton Creek is threatening to soak homeowners in NW NLB's Coolidge Triangle (west of the L.A. river) with costly annual federally mandated "flood insurance" as a result of L.A. County's Department of Public Works finding that levees along Compton Creek lack sufficient height to carry runoff in a so-called "100 year flood." Continue reading Long Beach Report.
