South Quad to open over Winter Break
The long-awaited South Quad Complex is nearing completion as construction crews begin to fill the new building with furniture and other fixtures, with employees preparing to move in Dec. 18.Originally, employees were planning to move in about mid-November, but the busy end of the semester was not the best time, they said. Instead, the move will occur over the nearly month-long Winter Break.Official ground-breaking for the $36 million complex was Nov. 8, 2006 and was one step of many of the 2002 LBCC Measure E master plan.
