Breakwater redesign could lead to new reef
A giant reef - possibly designed somewhat like an arrowhead - might be part of suggested offshore changes designed to protect the city's Peninsula area from sand erosion resulting from a redesign of the breakwater. It's one of several concepts that's been considered during an engineering study that will be released today so that it can be digested before a City Council study session at 5 p.m. Monday in City Council Chambers, 333 W.
